This one looks nice, hopefully the grand-master will agree.
I like the blue-ness, apparently that is a calming colour and lowers your blood pressure which could really help, if in the future, you post things that anger our tutors. lol.
You're looking much more comfortable with the challenges of Unit 3 - which is good to see; that said, I do still want you to invest in improving your 2d 'pre-production' stuff; don't go down the route of 'retroactive' concept art (in which you create work 'after' all the decisions have been made to simply satisfy the wishes of the 'grand-master' haha!). The point about concept art is that, put simply, it is art direction and production design combined - a means of understanding the scene before its construction begins; it may never be a strength of yours, but I don't see why it should remain a weakness.
Your scene - that plays knowingly on the 'unheimlich' element of childhood spaces - looks as if it's shaping up well; something else for you to look at: check out the 1973 photoseries 'The Bogeyman' by photographer Duane Michals.
In general terms, I think you could still make much more of your online journal and be more investigative; for the remainder of this unit, I want you to use this space exhaustively as you move towards completion; let's see all your research and development as you resolve this scene; for an example of student blogs that leave no stone unturned, please browse

Unit 3 Interim Online Review - 15/12/09
Hi Earl,
You're looking much more comfortable with the challenges of Unit 3 - which is good to see; that said, I do still want you to invest in improving your 2d 'pre-production' stuff; don't go down the route of 'retroactive' concept art (in which you create work 'after' all the decisions have been made to simply satisfy the wishes of the 'grand-master' haha!).
