I've looked into designing the smaller parts of Yggdrasil. These parts include the Habitat Pods, Buildings and others.

earl - don't forget to keep going back to real world reference and shape extraction for your details - all these building as uber-generic! :(
Yes, this was all to get the general shape ready. I'll be doing the shape extraction part next to get the shapes locked down.
I don't want them to detract from the tree too much so they need to be more grounded but I'll keep working on it.
The silhouettes will be better and more in line...
The science of soil-less gardening is called hydroponics. It basically involves growing healthy plants without the use of a traditional hydroponics nutrients soil medium by using a nutrient like a mineral rich water solution instead. A plant just needs select nutrients, some water, and sunlight to grow.
